| | the weird sisters on the wireless | ] | Do you ever get that uncomfortable feeling that you're being watched? Not in the normal media sort of watching, mind you. Just a really creepy feeling that someone's constantly watching everything you do, but you can't catch them doing it?
I really don't know why, but I've been feeling like that since I got back. There were wet footprints outside of our flat door this morning when I went for my run. A blank note card sticking out from our post box. I'm waiting for the typical head-in-a-box next.
Katie, did you find yourself a secret admiring stalker these past few days? The note card did have a picture of a bell on the front and I certainly can't be associated with bells. Did you piss one of Wood's fans off? I told you that's dangerous to mess with those sort of fans. One small glimmer of hope that gets diminished and they're all over you like a crazed dog.
Hmm.
I'll work on a few of those wards today. Maybe have someone come take a look at them. Make sure they're still up to our standards if not better.
Unless I can use your peanut butter and trap them under a large box... |

| | some howling woman on the wireless. merlin, i need to turn it off before i go deaf. | ] | I've one month left of my suspension. My June calendar is completely empty, which concerns me. During April and May, I was busy and had numerous things to do to keep my mind off not playing. If June proves to be as empty as it looks, running and re-arranging the furniture can only only fill up so many hours in so many days. I'm sure I'll find something, though. I'm sure Katie is looking forward to dropping a pile of unanswered fan mail on my lap, too. I keep eying the post and there are envelopes piling up with names written in curly handwriting and pink ink. I can only assume who sent them and who they're addressed to. Really ... he needs to answer his own letters. I really am going to end up in Mungo's if I keep answering Wood's fan's letters. Besides, I'm running out of false addresses to send them to.
Malfoy Draco, the opening of your club was fantastic! The inside looked amazing. Your hard work definitely showed and I'm sure it will be a success. Cheers!
The Prophet says it's suppose to rain practically all week and considering it's so ruddy cloudy right now, I wouldn't be surprised. At least it's getting warmer, though. I've been meaning to do something with the patio area, but I can't even begin to make a decision on it. We don't even have any outdoor chairs out there and it looks boring. If you ever wonder why we keep such heavy drapes over that door, you now know why. I could probably come up with something, but I've felt less then inspired which doesn't help.
I haven't felt inspired to do much of anything lately
I think I might just go take a nap. A nap sounds good.

Katie Bell and Angelina Johnson.
It is of the utmost importance that you both find your way to the Spinnet-Bell flat pronto! There is an emergency that needs to be resolved immediately!
It's a matter of life or death!
...okay maybe not life or death, but it's still important!
And bring whatever you're planning to wear to the opening Malfoy's club, yeah? |

If they trade him, then they're even more stupid then the day they took on Smith!
I am writing a letter.
A heavily worded letter of the utmost DISAPPROVAL of this ridiculous decision!
ONE GAME. So the Cannons were having a, surprisingly, good day.
THIS. This is why I'm considering just upping and leaving it all. One game that's off and it's immediate talk of trade and dropping you completely.
Unbelievable.
I'd be better off working at some street cart! |

Someone asked me once if I liked to plan everything out or if I preferred to be crazy and spontaneous.
My answer, at the time, was spontaneity.
Now I'm not so sure I like that answer. |

George, if it's all right, I can make it into the shop tomorrow and Thursday only. Friday I need to take care of a few things and Saturday I've that Ministry ball to attend. After that will be a bit spotty, too. When I came home, I had an anxiously chirping owl dancing around at my bedroom window. Think the poor thing had been sitting there a good portion of the day.
Seems my aunt has requested I spend a bit of time with her since my uncle's been called off to take care of some issues in one of the dragon colonies over in Austria. It's one of the bigger ones from what she said and they need a few extra hands. Katie, she said you're more than welcome to come along with me. She didn't want you to be left by yourself. I'd say I have a choice in the matter, but considering she sent me my port key information along with her owl...
Should be interesting. There's never a dull moment around that woman, I swear.

Flat's in perfect condition, Anthony! Many thanks, mate. I suppose you'll be getting your gift then. Not that I actually expected to come back to find it looking like three blokes lived here.
...Well, no. I did, but I kept telling myself that I made the right choice in asking you lot to watch it for me. You didn't really go through Katie's things did you
It'll be nice to sleep in my own bed regardless of how comfortable the one at the house was.

[Apr. 20th, 2009|11:50 am] |
Maybe it's really day 1 since we spent most of the day yesterday traveling through our port key stops.
Either way, it's been raining since we got here, which is never a great way to start one's vacation. When it lets up, we've been taking full advantage of it. Katie thought she'd have fun with a camera we found at the house. Those photos will never surface.
These; however, will.
( Spell-O-Taped on the page )
I think we're going to try for another shopping round later today. Maybe dinner at Le Restaurant Arménien.
I'm keeping an eye on your drink consumption, though, Katie Bell! |

SURPRISE!
Happy early birthday, Katie!
Your brilliant mates, Angelina Johnson and Alicia Spinnet, are taking you on a tropical birthday trip with, hopefully, a special guest appearance by Victoria Frobisher.
We'll be leaving tomorrow so get your arse home after today's game and start packing.
Anthony, would you mind looking after the flat while we're gone? I trust you not to turn our flat into a sister of what you, Michael and Terry have now.
Added a few hours later... ( Private to Miles ) |

Katie, I finished editing my half of those articles you left for me. I cleaned the entire flat again, finished prepping dinner and have already taken three showers to just take up time. I took two walks, jogged a bit through the second one, rearranged my bedroom, alphabetized the books - which are now grouped by size - fiddled with the colour of the curtains in the living room, did a crossword in last Sunday's Prophet, filled out one of those quizzes in Witch Weekly...
If I pace anymore, I'm going to wear a hole into the flooring.
My broom is mocking me in the corner. They shipped it back to me to keep at home since it's a liability if they keep it there. I tried putting a sheet over it, but it blew off.
I considered sitting upside down on the couch until everything just goes blurry, but that's just wasting time.
Has it been three months yet? |

I suppose it's pretty obvious that the flat-warming party was canceled. We'll reschedule, don't worry!
I did; however, just finish unpacking the very last box of stuff Katie and I seemed to have collected. Well, mostly what I've collected over the years of living on my own. Amidst a lot of junk - did I really save a wrapper from a piece of candy some bloke that I had a crush on when I was a third year? - and items of sentimental value - Katie! I found that book - I found my old Quidditch robes from Hogwarts, my uniform tie, my O.W.L scores, and my N.E.W.T. scores. Here I thought Mum had kept them. I also found a hair tie that I never returned to Katie, a shirt of Angelina's, an old play book that Oliver put together that I think Fred or George spilled pumpkin juice on, my old pair of glasses, and some medical book my Dad gave me. I guess it was one of his many attempts to get me to work at Mungo's.
Katie, when you have a minute, we ought to make a trip to the market and do a bit of stocking up now that things are in their proper places. We ought to break in the kitchen, too; make something good for dinner. Well, I'll make something good for dinner. You can watch, maybe boil some water.
Oh. Right. And Smith's a ruddy prat who's lucky I didn't hex his head off and shove it up his arse.
Happy Sunday! |
